Custom Software

A developer writes code on a laptop beside printed workflow diagrams

// Custom Software

Tools built around how your business actually works, instead of bending your business to fit an off-the-shelf product.

Off-the-shelf software is built for the average business, which means it fits nobody exactly, so teams end up with a spreadsheet beside the system and someone copying data between the two every afternoon. We build dashboards, portals, internal tools and workflow systems around the way your business actually runs, connected to what you already use.

  • Built around your process, not a template

  • Connected to the tools you already use

  • Your code and your data, in your repository

// What’s included

What we build

01

Dashboards and reporting

Live numbers from across the business in one place, instead of a weekly spreadsheet.

02

Portals

Customer, partner and supplier portals where people log in and help themselves.

03

Internal tools

The admin screens, approval flows and trackers your team uses every day.

04

Operational systems

Booking, inventory, billing and workflow systems shaped around how you already work.

05

Replacing what you have outgrown

The spreadsheet or ageing system the team works around every day, rebuilt properly, with the data moved across.

06

Integrations

Connections to your CRM, accounting, payments and messaging tools, so data only gets entered once.

// How it runs

Short cycles, with working software at the end of each

Week 1

Map and scope

We map the process the software has to support, agree the scope and give you a fixed quote.

Week 2

First working version

The core workflow built end to end and deployed, so your team can try it on real work.

Every two weeks

Build, review, adjust

A demo, a plain-language update and a reprioritised list for the next cycle.

What you walk away with

  • Working software, deployed and in use
  • Source code in your own repository
  • Integrations with your existing tools
  • User roles and permissions
  • Technical documentation
  • Training for the people who use it

Asked about this service

Sometimes it is not, and we will say so. If an existing product does most of what you need, configuring it is usually cheaper. Custom software pays off when the workarounds cost more each month than building the right tool would.

Almost always. Most modern tools have an API, and for older systems we find another way in, such as scheduled imports or a direct database connection.

The software changes with it. That is the point of building it around your process instead of buying a fixed one, and most changes fit into a normal two-week cycle.
